Dreaming of Rain

Still loving the Under My Umbrella set with the matching punch.  Using this set is my version of a rain dance.  Fingers crossed we get some as its really needed here in Australia right now!  Unfortunately we are just about to head into a few days of extreme heat again.  I made a couple of these really clean and simple cards with this set (I made a few with just different coloured umbrellas).  This is using the Pleased as Punch DSP which is a coordinating Sale-A-Bration product coming next week.  I love that the umbrellas punch right out of the paper!  Super easy!

Here is what I have used:
Stamps: Under My Umbrella
Ink: Memento Black
Card/Paper: Whisper White C/S, Pleased as Punch DSP
Tools: Stampin' Blends, Umbrella Builder Punch
Embellishments: Epoxy Shapes (retired)

Thanks for popping by, I hope you are having a crafty day.

Hey Honey Bee!

I recently participated in a swap with some other SU demos for the new mini catalogue.  I chose to make this card to send using the new Honey Bee set which I knew I had to have as soon as I saw it.  I'm obsessed with all things bees, loved the big fat fluffy bumble bees when we visited the UK.  So important to our environment these little guys.

Here is what I have used:
Stamps: Honey Bee
Ink: Memento Black, Garden Green, Pool Party, Crushed Curry
Card/Paper: Coastal Cabana C/S, Whisper White C/S
Tools: Detailed Bee Dies, Die Cutting Machine, Stampin Blends
Embellishments: Peaceful Poppies Sequins, Twine

I can see myself using this set a whole heap as its completely adorable.  Plus you can combine it with the Golden Honey Specialty DSP which you can earn for free during the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.  Stay tuned for a card using this set with the coordinating paper.

Have a crafty day,

Bec

Super Cute Ladybugs

Two posts in one day!  Don't fall over lol.  Did you know that if you host a workshop, demonstration or qualifying order during SAB you can earn an exclusive SAB Hostess set?  Everyone is going mad for these cute little ladybugs and that is the only way to get them!  I had fun playing with this set today.

Here is what I have used:
Stamps: Little Ladybugs (SAB)
Ink: Memento Black
Card/Paper: Whisper White C/S, Mango Melody C/S, Mossy Meadow C/S
Tools: Stampin' Blends in Real Red, Smoky Slate, Mango Melody and Mossy Meadow, Clear Wink of Stella (on the dots on wings and centre of flower), Ladybugs Dies (SAB coordinating product coming next month)

I have played along very loosely with Freshly Made Sketches #417 for this card also.  This was the sketch.

Thanks for popping by and remember to let me know if you want to find out how to get this set!

Happy New Year!

Hi and Happy New Year!  Life has been crazy lately with a revolving door of visitors and it doesn't look set to slow down anytime until the kids go back to school and we are well into February!  As soon as I saw this set in the new Mini Catalogue that launched on 3/1/2020 I new I had to have it and even more so now that our beautiful koalas are having such a tough time of it.  Unless you live under a rock I'm guessing you all know our plight here in Australia with such devastating bush fires all around the country.  I've personally donated to several different charities in the hope of making a difference as every little bit helps.  That being said Bonanza Buddies was certainly going to be the first set I have used this year.  This is for a little friends birthday.

Here is what I have used:
Stamps: Bonanza Buddies
Card/Paper:  Coastal Cabana C/S, Whisper White C/S, Birthday Bonanza DSP
Ink: Smoky Slate, Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody, Grapefruit Grove, Bermuda Bay, Memento Black
Tools: Bonanza Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Die cutting machine
Embellishments: Assorted pompoms, Sequins

I am entering this into CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge #CTC260 which was to case any card from the new mini catalogue and I have chosen to case the layout of a card on page 42.

Thanks for popping by,

Bec
