Celebrate!

I'm trying to slowly get back my creative spirit.  I have used the great Happy Little Things Stamp and Die bundle. I love this set which is great for using up lots of bits of retired DSP with those tags.

I was inspired to make this by a similar card I saw on Pinterest by Stamp with Laurie.  I love this layout!

Apart from the stamp and die bundle everything was from my retired stash which is huge!  It felt great to use up some retired DSP.

Happy crafting,

Happy World Cardmaking Day

A great day to enjoy the wonderful hobby of cardmaking! I spent time playing along with the free World Cardmaking Day event hosted by Stampin' Up! We made 5 great cards using the gorgeous ephemera packs. Here they are.

You can check out all the great ephemera packs on page 19 of the Annual Catalogue and also check out some great Christmas ones in the Mini Catalogue on page 15.  Such a great way to make cards!

A special 18th birthday card for one of my son's long time friends.  They have been friends since primary school!  I love this Attention Shoppers set as it is so versatile for lots of different occasions.

All the little individual stamps can be used to make up any combination you choose and I enjoyed colouring these up with my blends.

Card/Paper: Basic White, Basic Black, 2024-2026 In-color DSP

Tools: Stitched Rectangles Dies, Attention Shoppers Dies, Static Pillow, White Embossing Powder, Heath Gun, Wink of Stella, Stampin' Blends

Happy Easter!

I have definitely been MIA for awhile but I have got back to the craft room this weekend to make a few things!  My health has been very varied lately so I'm finding it hard to get motivated but hopefully I can produce some more creations now.  I have played along at CTC462 this week which was to case a sketch from page 70 of the current mini catalogue.

I chose an Easter theme because of course it is Easter!  This set will be retiring at the end of the annual catalogue and I really haven't given it enough love.

This little bunny is super cute!

Here is what I have used:

Stamps: Easter Bunny

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

Card/Paper: Bubble Bath, Basic White, Thick Basic White, Delightfully Eclectic DSP

Tools: Irresistible Blooms Dies, Stampin' Blends, Deckled Rectangles Dies, Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folder

Embellishments: Twine, Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels

The DSP, jewels and embossing folder are all retiring also, so if on your wish list don't miss out!

Happy Birthday Son!

Today is my son's 17th birthday and we have a longstanding tradition of a Star Wars theme when it comes to his birthday.  I always try and make him a Star Wars themed card and here is what I have come up with this year.

I have downloaded a basic image and also did the font on the computer by downloading a free font in Star Wars theme.

Here is what I used:

Card/Paper: Tahitian Tide, Stargazing DSP

Tools:  Snips, Deckled Circles Dies

I hope he never stops his obsession with Star Wars! He got plenty of Star Wars Lego for both Christmas and his birthday, its taking over the house!

Happy crafting,

Bec
