I love a good easel card as they are so simple but effective!  This one I did using the ever favourite Poinsettia Place Suite again.

Stamps: Poinsettia Petals

Ink:  Real Red

Card/Paper: Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White, Poinsettia Place DSP, Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper

Tools:  Poinsettia Dies

Embellishments:  Real Red Sheer Ribbon, Beaded Pearls

Cute, Quick Fold

When you are mass producing cards for an occasion, like Christmas, we often go with very simple designs.  This quick cute fold is perfect as it is really simple.  I was inspired by Jackie Bolhuis to make this design.

A great design to showcase the gorgeous Designer Series Papers!

The small part on the front opens to make the "card" part.

Another one using different papers.

Here is what I have used:

Stamps: Perfectly Plaid, Gnome For The Holidays

Ink:  Real Red, Soft Suede, Shaded Spruce

Card/Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, 'Tis The Season DSP

Tools:  Pine Tree Punch

Embellishments:  Real Red Braided Linen Trim, Real Red Sheer Ribbon, All The Trimmings Embellishments

Card Recipe:

Real Red Cardstock: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"

DSP: 5 1/4" x 4"

Whisper White: 8 1/2" x 2 1/2" (folded in half)

DSP: 2 1/4" x 4"

Scraps of Whisper White for stamping.

You can also view the video on my Facebook page on how this was constructed.

Charlie is 1!

Today my sweet little grandson is 1!  Hard to believe how fast time flies.  I had this card in mind as soon as I got this set months ago.

Again I have to say how much I love the Playful Alphabet dies to personalise and creation!

And of course a little bit of detail on the inside as well.

Here is what I have used:

Stamps: Moving Along, Family Party

Ink/Card/Paper:  Pacific Point, Whisper White, Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate, Real Red, Garden Green,

So Saffron, Pretty Peacock, Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Memento Black

Tools:  Playful Alphabets Dies, Rainbow Builder Dies (retired)

I had lots of fun making this!  I'm also fully on the slim line card bandwagon!

Cute Little Ornaments

Something a little bit different from me today.  I got these blank wood rounds last year with the thinking of making some Christmas decorations with them but it didn't happen, so this year I'm making it happen!

This little cutie is from the Flight of Fancy Set.

These guys are all from the Gnome For The Holidays Set.

Of Course they all needed a bit of bling with some Wink of Stella!

I think this one is my favourite he reminds me more a wizard than a gnome!

Here is what I have used:

Stamps: Gnome For The Holidays, Flight of Fancy, Peace & Joy
Ink: Staz-On Black, Old Olive, Flirty Flamingo
Card/Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Tools: Stampin' Blends
Embellishments:  Wood Rounds, Assorted Ribbon and Twine

We put up our tree tonight too so it really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Happy crafting,

Poinsettia Place Gift Giving

There is nothing like giving gifts that are beautifully packaged.  I love to make coordinating gift and card sets for my loved ones.  These great Rectangle Tins (#153519) make gift giving a breeze.

Here is what I have used:

Stamps:  Warm Hugs, Poinsettia Petals

Ink:  Real Red, Old Olive, Soft Suede

Card/Paper:  Whisper White, Poinsettia Place DSP, Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper

Tools:  Poinsettia Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies

Embellishments: Rectangle Tin, Real Red Sheer Ribbon, Twine

I cut out those gorgeous flocked Poinsettia from the specialty paper with the dies and the centre of them you can just see.  Also stamped the berry sprigs and cut out with dies.  This is all assembled on a band of DSP so it can just be slid on and off to get to the gift inside.

Thanks for visiting and happy crafting,

Poinsettia Slim Line Card

I'm a bit late to the party with a slim line card but finally made one with these gorgeous products!

I've used the Poinsettia Place Suite again.  All those gorgeous flowers are cut straight from the Designer Series Paper.  I'm still in love with that wood grain DSP too.

Here is what I have used:
Stamps: Poinsettia Petals
Ink:  Soft Suede
Card/Paper:  Garden Green, Soft Suede, Poinsettia Place DSP
Embellishments:  Pearl Basic Jewels, Linen Thread

I loved the extra space making one of these cards gives you and think I will be making more of them in the future!

Happy crafting,
Bec x
