It's Finally Over!

Hi sorry I have had a massive headache the last two days and have barely been out of bed but I'm pleased to say it has finally started to lift. Thanks to my hubby for taking on the household for me xxx. Here are some cards I did for CAS13 over over on splitcoasters. I needed three male cards this week and then went on to make a baby and girly one I loved the simplicity of the layout.

These were easy peasy with just a whisper white base and I used some the 1" circle punch to punch out some circles in plain and DP. Used paper clips, buttons, ribbon etc to dress them up and stamped the congratulations from the retired congrats set. These are great for some quick cards.

TFL and happy stamping.

Happy Mother's Day!

Hi everyone and wishing you all a happy Mother's Day. I didn't get the sleep in (hey a 2 year old) but got lovely pressies in bed this morning and now they are just cooking me breakfast (thankfully with hubby's help). Spoilt! Here is the card I made for my mum.

I used this weeks sketch from Taylored Expressions seen here TECC67. Stamps: Love Owl-ways (retired), Wonderful Favourites, So Many Sayings (retired); Paper: Ruby Red, Whisper White and some unknown DP I found in my box of tricks; Ink: Staz-On Black, Chocolate Chip; Accessories: Choc Chip Taffeta Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch, Brads, Paper Piercer and Template, Markers. I paper pierced the heart in the same DP I used for the background. I hope mum likes it - I'm sure she will!

This is the card I also made last night for my Grandmother. It started out with no butterflies but accidently dropped it onto my ink pad (must remember to shut them) and needed to cover the whoopsy. Wasn't going to start again after colouring and cutting out that flower I can tell you!

I used: Stamps: Bloomin with Beauty, Wonderful Favourites; Paper: Very Vanilla, Riding Hood Red, Unknown Blue DP from my stash, Watercolour Paper; Ink: Staz-On Black, Riding Hood Red; Accessories: Brads, Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Markers & Blender Pen, Butterfly Punch (I pinched if from Laurel!).

One more thing to show you - this is the card Laurel made for me from her and Oscar for today. Guy helped a bit but I think they did a great job! Potential for a future SU Demo there?

Will leave you in peace now as my brekky is ready. Have a great day.

Last Minute Mothers Day

As usual I am running behind and still have 2 cards to make today. Here is one I did last night for MOJO85.

I used a Heidi Grace Scrapbooking pack for this one and some coordinating ribbon. I also used the stamp from All Year Cheer II (which is retired but the only mothers day stamp I have). I punched the flowers from the Spring Bouquet Punch (retired) and added a brad for bling. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Recovery Party

Sorry went awol there for a few days had some organising to do for my foster daughter's 16th birthday yesterday. We had a party at home with a few friends - which turned into a lot of friends! Here is the card I made for Alex.
