Big News!

Well I have been very lax in posting lately and for that I apologise but I have a good reason! We are expecting baby number 3! Unfortunately I am feeling very poorly so my poor stamping room has been rather unused! We are very excited so in honour here is another baby card that I made ages ago that I didn't get around to posting.

Notice this one is generic colours! Even though it is too early yet to tell we won't be finding out what sex the baby is - a surprise is always nice. Here is what I used:

Stamps: Short & Sweet
Paper: So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Tea Party DSP
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Large Oval Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Wide Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, So Saffron Ribbon, Non SU Googly Eyes and Puff Paint.
I went to Melbourne Regionals this weekend with my sister-in-law. We decided to drive over and visit and I got to go with someone I knew! It was great and we got some cool sneak peeks and new stuff coming up in the Summer Mini. You will love it!
Take care,
Rebecca

Two Challenges in One

I did this one the other day for Mojo Monday sketch 105 and Colour Challenge 237 on Splitcoasters. I must admit at first I wasn't sure about those colours together but I think it turned out kinda nice.

Here is what I used:

Stamps: Organic Grace (Hostess)

Paper: Elegant Eggplant, Summer Sun, Basic Black, Watercolour Paper

Ink: Staz-On Black, Elegant Eggplant, Summer Sun

Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, Markers, Blender Pen, Dimensionals, CB, Non-SU Ribbon, Brads, Rub-On

I watercoloured the flowers with markers and blender pen then cut one out and popped it up on dimensionals.

Thanks for dropping by and happy stamping,

Bec

October Specials

October already! Nearly Christmas. We have a great special for you this month to celebrate World Card Making Day on 3rd October. For this month only when you purchase a Simply Sent Card Elements set (pgs 140 & 141 of the 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalogue) you can get 20% of the coordinating stamp set! How cool is that. The papers and colours in these sets are just brilliant and you can make a multitude of different cards with the coordinating stamp set. If this interests you drop me a line and place an order.

A card for today:

Here is what I used:

Stamps: A Happy Heart, Sweet Little Sentiments (Hostess), French Script (Retried)

Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black

Ink: White Staz-On, Versamark, Basic Black

Accessories: Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Small Oval Punch, Black Embossing Powder, Clear Rhinestone Brad, Corner Rounder Punch, Dimensionals, Non SU Ribbon, Non SU Stick on Bling

I embossed the hearts with black EP and then cut them out popping the top one up on dimensionals. The background was stamped with white Staz-On which looks great on a black background.

Thanks for dropping by,

Bec
