Game On!

If you didn't notice I don't really like making male cards lol.  I struggle with these!  That being said I need to make quite a lot for all the men in our lives so this set was a must for me.

Here is what I have used:

Stamps: Game On, You Are Amazing (sentiment)

Ink:  Memento Black, Real Red

Card/Paper:  Whisper White, Basic Black

I have popped up the chess pieces and dice on dimensionals but otherwise this is a pretty easy single layer card excluding the sentiment at the bottom.

I love how it came together and think this will definitely be a go to set for those pesky male cards!

Happy crafting,

Card/Paper: Whisper White, Ice Cream Corner DSP

Snail Mail!

As soon as I saw this set I knew that it would be mine!  It is so adorable.  This card started out with that left over bit of frame that I had from another creation.  I didn't want to waste it!

Here is what I have used:

Stamps:  Snailed It, Timeless Tulips (sentiment)

Ink:  Memento Black, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green

Card/Paper:  Whisper White, Snail Mail DSP, So Saffron

Tools:  Blending Brushes, Snail Dies, Stampin' Blends

Embellishments:  Resin Hearts

I have been testing out the new Blending Brushes and I need a bit more practice but I love these.  Again that cute little snail is cut straight out of the DSP using the matching dies so simple but effective.

Thanks for popping by!

Hello Pampered Pets!

I decided to pick one set today and just have a play and also get involved with some challenges too.  I chose the Pampered Pets set.

This first card I played along with the sketch at Fusion. This is a great one for using up those strips of DSP too.

For my second card I played along at Paper Craft Crew Challenges. I made my triangles a bit smaller than the sketch - not intentionally, that is just how it happened!

And lastly I joined in over at Freshly Made Sketches to make this slimline card.  I just adore this grumpy cat cut from the DSP! He reminds me of my cat always sitting by the door waiting for his food bowl to be filled.

Here is what I have used:

Stamps:  Papmered Pets

Ink:  Memento Black

Card/Paper:  Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Playful Pets DSP, In Good Taste DSP

Tools:  Stitched Shapes Dies, Stitched Rectangles Dies, Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch, Pets Dies, Stampin' Blends

Embellishments: Playful Pets Trinkets, Playful Pets Trim, White Twin, Rhinestones, Pearls

This is a really fun suite and I definitely need to use it more!

Thanks for popping by,

Baby Yoda!

With a resident Star Wars geek I had to get on the baby Yoda bandwagon for his birthday card!  I've seen lots of different variations and went with the tools I have.

Here is what I used:

Ink:  Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Gorgeous Grape

Card/Paper:  Basic Grey, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black, Blushing Bride, Photo Paper, White copy paper

Tools:  Stitched Shapes Framelits, Blending Brushes, White Paint Pen, Circle Punch

I tried out the new blending brushes for the background on some photo paper I had laying about.  I really love how these work but need a bit more practice.  My paint pen was very successful but he was happy with it!

Thanks for popping in,

Tis The Season!

I've been sucked down the rabbit hole and haven't posted for way too long!  Things are crazy busy here and I've just taken on another job so I'm not quite sure when I will get time to be creative going forward.  With that happening I decided today just to make something fun.  This is for my nieces that I have bought zoo memberships for Christmas so thought this was appropriate.

I went with a slimline card to fit a few animals on.

Of course being in Australia we needed a koala.

Here is what I used.

Stamps:  Menagerie Mix Up, Curvy Christmas, Gnome for the Holidays

Ink:  Old Olive, Garden Green, Memento Black, So Saffron

Card/Paper: Real Red, Whisper White

Tools: Stampin Blends, Menagerie Dies, Wink of Stella

I loved just colouring and creating a scene, I spent way too long on this but loved every minute!

I sure hope they love it.
