21st Birthday Wishes

I have an abundance of these to make this year.  This one was for my niece who is a very girly, girl into makeup etc.  I love this set to make those real girly cards.  I have raided my old retired DSP stash as well for this one.

Here is what I have used:
Stamps: Dressed To Impress
Ink:  Memento Black
Card/Paper: Whisper White, Retired DSP
Tools:  All Dressed Up Dies, Number Dies (retired), Stitched Shapes Dies, Stampin' Blends in various colours.

I hope you are getting some crafty time in and enjoying it  as well.

A Bit of Dino Fun!

Who doesn't love a pink dinosaur?  When making kids cards I figure anything goes.  A couple of little rough and tumble girls birthdays coming up and I really wanted to use this set.

I had this old piece of Melon Mambo that I had used to cut a top note die out of many moons ago and figured I'd use it one day!  This formed the base of my card and I worked from there.

Here is what I used:
Stamps: Dino Days
Card/Paper: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Old Olive, Early Espresso, Scrap of DSP
Ink: Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Early Espresso
Tools: Dino Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies, Hand Circle Punch
Embellishments: Glimmer Dots (retired)

Once again I'm trying to use up all those things I was saving in my one day box.  The die cut base piece, scrap of DSP under the banner and the retired glimmer dots.  I have so much stuff its nice to not always have to use the new products!

Hope you are getting some craft in, we are now on day 1 of lockdown 2.0 here in Melbourne so there might be more craft time coming! #silverlining.

Mash It Up Monday!

I have this box that I chuck all my extra scraps of paper, images I haven't used, bits or ribbon etc (you get the idea) into when I clean up after crafting.  Now I decided I need to make an effort to use all these bits and pieces so my goal is to use at least one thing out of there on a project I make.  I can add whatever else to it as long as I use something out of the crap box lol.  I'm call it #mashupmonday.  Here is what I made this week.

I had these few sheets of Gingham Gala DSP (retired) in my box that was the end of that pack.  Some decent sized pieces that were perfect for card fronts.  Added a quick sentiment and some butterflies and these are perfect thank you cards for my customers.

A few little pieces of scrap DSP were still left over.  I made a bunch of #scrappystriptechnique pieces that I will turn into cards soon but I still had these little thin pieces that it seemed a waste to throw away.  I made this quick simple panel and again slapped on a sentiment, ribbon and bling and another card for the stash.

Here is what I used:
Stamps: So Sentimental, Butterfly Gala
Card/Paper: Whisper White, Highland Heather, Gingham Gala DSP (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight
Tools: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies, Butterfly Duet Punch, Assorted Stampin' Blends
Embellishments: Ribbon, Sequins

I challenge you to use up so odd bits and pieces that I know you have somewhere!

Happy crafting,

Bec
