World Cardmaking Day

 Happy World Cardmaking Day! Stampin' Up! hosted a FREE online event today and it was lots of fun.  Sometimes its great to create a design by another crafter to step out of your comfort zone. Here are the three cards we used:

This card was made with the new Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle which is an online exclusive. I love the simplicity of this card.

Here is what we used:

Stamps: Heartfelt Hexagon

Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst

Card/Paper: Basic White, Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Azure Afternoon, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist

Tools: Hexagon Punch

Embellishments: Tinsel Gems Four Pack

This one was with the Earthern Textures Stamps and Dies.  I haven't used these yet and I love the different colours used for this one.

Here is what we used:

Stamps:  Earthern Textures

Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Lemon Lime Twist, Pecan Pie

Card/Paper: Blueberry Bushel, Basic White, Watercolour Paper

Tools:  Earthern Textures Dies, Water Painter

Embellishments:  Tinsel Gems Four Pack

I think this one was my favourite and love the technique of using a Stampin' Write Marter to draw on the stripes for the background half circles.  Such a cool technique.

Here is what we used:

Stamps:  Circle Sayings

Ink: Blueberry Bushel

Card/Paper: Lemon Lolly, Azure Afternoon, Basic White

Tools:  2 3/8" Circle Punch, Lemon Lolly Stampin' Write Marker

Embellishments:  Tinsel Gems Four Pack
