Loads of Love

Hi everyone, I can't believe tomorrow is the last day of the year! Where did it go. Sorry no cards for a while but you know the silly season. This is the Loads of Love set and Short & Sweet for the sentiment. Used a cupcake stamp I had that is an incentive stamp demos give out with orders and a slice of metal cake! This was for CC195 on splitcoasters as I thought these colours were a bit more manly and this is for a man. Used the cuttlebug on the background and my brand new Cricut that Guy bought me on the weekend as an early birthday present (aren't I lucky!). Well hope you all have a fabulous and safe new years eve and look out for my January newsletter on Thursday for all the fantastic new offers that start next month!

The Countdown is On!

Another layout for SC206 over on splitcoaststampers. I really like this layout its quick and simple - sorry about the photo. I used the Always set for this and some random numbers for the 60. Always has retired but I think it was so popular that it may come out in next years new catty. This was for my mum for a friend of hers. Used the same DP as my mother in laws card and all the other same combos. Hope you are all having success with the Christmas shopping (I think I'm nearly done) and you are not getting too stressed out. Christmas is the least of my worries this week as work has been absolutely horrid!
Happy stamping

Number 1 Dad

Good morning everyone. Struggling this Sunday morning as had late night with my work Christmas party last night got home about 2am and then had to listen to Guy snore all night! Just thought I would share a non stamped card (bizarre for me I know) that I made for the kids to give to Guy for his recent birthday. Just printed the sentiment out on the computer but did use the punch tool for the decorative edge. This layout was for SC205 over on splitcoaststampers. I love to do the challenges as they get me out of my rut and inspire to try different things and layouts. Why not give them a go yourself. I did use choc chip cardstock with whisper white base and the DP is a bit found in my scrap box and can't remember where it came from - sorry! Hope all is well and happy stamping!

Sketch Challenge Card

Good Thursday morning. Happy Birthday Elsie. This is the card that I made for my mother-in-law for her birthday today. Hope she likes it. It is for SC206 over on splitcoasters and seemed to get good reviews over there. Unfortunately this set is retired but I used Basic Phrases which is still in the book. The DP isn't SU either but really loved it and I think it worked well with Bashful Blue and Very Vanilla. Off to work for a few hours again today and then have a million errands to do - can't we have more time before Christmas? I need a pause button! Guy is off on his break up day for work today so expect him to come home a little worse for wear (if he even comes home that is!).

Have a great day everyone.

Summer Mini Is Here!

Hi everyone sorry to be gone so long but things have been seriously hectic but hey guess I'm not the only one with Chrissy only 2 weeks away!!! Just thought I would let you know that the Summer Mini Catalogue has started and will be finally collecting mine from the post office tomorrow (that had better be the parcel that is waiting for me!) so if you would like a copy just drop me a line or of course you can view it online. This is one of the adorable new sets from that catalogue called Love Owl-ways. Isn't it just too cute. I made this for CC195 over on splitcoaststampers and gave it to my hubby for his recent birthday. Used Whisper White, Sahara Sand and Basic Black cardstock and then stamped image with black Staz-On Ink and then watercoloured with the blender pen.

Quick reminder that I can do last minute gift certificates for Stampin' Up! products ordered through me if anyone is lost for an idea. I can only accept cash for these though. Also wanted to let everyone know that Sale-A-Bration is coming in January and I have had a sneak preview of the lovely stamp sets you can get for free. A great time to have a party or become a demo even. If that all sounds too hard then just by spending $100 you can select a free stamp set from the special Sale-A-Bration range that will never be available again. Have a great day.

Price is $20 which includes wine, nibbles and your tickets. Contact me for tickets. Posting a card real soon I promise!

Here is a card for you using the Always set from the Spring Mini Catalogue. Remeber this finishes at the end of the month so if you love this set get it now! Also used the photo corner punch with this one and wasn't too sure about the olive and red combo but think it came out ok.

Big Buckle Card

Thought I would have a go at a new technique on splitcoasters and tried a big buckle card. Used the Bloomin' with Beauty from the Spring Mini Catalogue and I think it turned out ok. I am loving my paper piercing tool at the moment and find I am using it on everything.

Hope you like this and I'll put something else out tomorrow (if I have time!).

Simply Scrappin' Kits

Thought I would share a card I made from the Winter Bright Simply Scrappin' Kit. I love these kits as they come with so many bits and pieces and are fantastic not just for scrapbooking but make lovely cards as well!

Have used the tree from Lovely As A Tree set and the sentiment is from the Party Punch set which is hostess only - sorry! If you love it you will just have to have a party of your own! Ribbon is Wild Wasabi and Pretty in Pink.
Happy crafting

Finally Some Photos!

Have finally done some pictures for you all! Sorry about the photography I'm still getting there. This card was an order for someone for a 40th birthday. Used up some scrap pieces lying around except for the base which was Whisper White. Decided to use the Card sketch challenge SC 195 on Splitcoaststampers for some inspiration. Hope she likes it! Just love those punches and my cuttlebug.

Getting in the Christmas spirit as have realised it is now October and have made no Christmas Cards!!!! This is for SC 194 on Splitcoaststampers. Just love those challenges they inspire me. Used Whisper white and Bordering Blue cardstock with some left over DP from last christmas for this one. Mellow moss and Purely Pomegranate ink and the lovely Solemn Stillness stamps which I need to get out more often as love the look of these. Basic Phrases for the message. Enjoy!
