It's Tuesday No Time To Stamp!

Good evening. As it is a Tuesday I had to work (blah) so this is a card that I made last week - another baby card. Guess what no stamping! Shock horror.

This was for SC225 over on Splitcoasters. Used up some more of that left over DP. Sorry I think the only thing SU was the whisper white card base. Quick and simple though. Hope you all had a creative day.

Dreary Monday Morning

Well here comes number 3 - Oscar woke up complaining of a sore ear so we are off to the doctors shortly. Laurel is also full of a cold - just in time to go back to school. It is pouring with rain and is freezing (although we are not complaining about the rain - is this finally drought breaking?). So here is a card to cheer up the day!

A friend recently had a baby boy so this is the card I made to send to them. It is for SC223 over on splitcoasters. This is what I used:

Stamps: Fun & Fast Notes, Spring Pictograms (retired); Paper: Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Whisper White, CK Baby Boy Dots DP; Ink: So Saffron, Bashful Blue; Accessories: Cuttlebug, paper piercer & template, ribbon, large oval punch, brads, scallop edge punch.

Thanks for looking and have a great start to the week - we are off to the Doctors!

Sunday Relaxation - Not!

Hi everyone - yes its Sunday a day of relaxation. Not in this house, how relaxing can it be with a two year old! We have had a weekend of things going wrong - yesterday the vacuum cleaner blew up (and that is a big deal in this house - again I point out the two year old). Extremely inclement weather here blew down the fence last night and the dog escaped, luckily he is too fond of his food to only go two doors down. I am just waiting for the next thing - happens in three's doesn't it? Anyway here is a card.

This was for a little friend's 3rd birthday. I really love this set - too cute! Here is what I used:

Stamps: Window Dressing, Spring Pictograms (retired); Paper: Whisper White, Pretty In Pink, Certainly Celery, Sage Shadow, Spring Fling DP (retired); Ink: Black Staz-On, Sage Shadow, Acc: Ribbon, Punches, Cuttlebug, Blingy Flowers, Brads. I double stamped the main image onto Sage Shadow and cut out the shutters and popped them up on dimensionals. Made a blind with the DP, watercoloured the rest of window, stamped birds and cut out.

Hope you enjoy. Happy relaxing Sunday!

Left over from Easter

Hi everyone (or at least 2 people!). Just thought I would post this card that was from Easter - I know I'm a few weeks behind but I thought seeing as thought we still have oodles of eggs in the house it was ok to post this card!

I loved all the cards over on splitcoaststampers that used the basket die - which we don't have yet here downunder so I made my own template and came up with this.
Stamps: A Good Egg
Paper: Pretty In Pink, Certainly Celery, Sage Shadow, So Saffron, Spring Fling DP (retired)
Ink: Sage Shadow, Basic Black
Acc: Cuttlebug swiss dots folder, Ribbon, Punches, Dimensionals
I was quite pleased how it turned out, I put some dimensionals under the handle area to make it stand out like a basket.
Thanks for looking.
As it is ANZAC day take a moment today to remember those who served our country. RIP.

It's Raining!

Shows how often this happens in these parts when my two year old has sat by the window all morning wondering what is coming out of the sky!

Here is a card to brighten the day.

For this one I cased a card over on splitcoaststampers that I liked. See my post here. This is using the A Happy Heart set which I was pleased to see went into the new catalogue. I used some left over paper from the retired Crew Kids Girl Simply Scrappin' Kit. Thanks for looking and have a great day - it's raining!

Happy Monday Morning

Sorry have been missing in action - as usual life gets in the way! I finally got the Boatloads of Love set which I have been coveting for ages and was glad to see it in the new catty. This was for SC221 over on splitcoasters. Used some old designer paper (summer picnic) and basic phrases as well. Cuttlebugged the background in Pumpkin Pie. Watercolour paper for the image is a must. Thanks for looking!
