Crafty Cardmakers #171

Hi I am hosting again this week at Crafty Cardmakers and our theme is "By or Under the Sea".  I pulled out an old favourite stamp set of mine for this one.

Here is what I have used:
Card/Paper: SU Pacific Point, Real Red, X-press It Blending Card
Stamps: SU Boatloads of Love
Ink: Memento Black
Embellishments: SU Real Red Ribbon, White Twine
Tools: Big Shot and Bubble Embossing Folder
Copics: B02, B04, B06, R27, R29, R59, Y02, Y06, Y08

For some reason the photo has not shown my colouring real well on the boat all my shading has disappeared!  Anyway you get the idea!

Thanks for popping by and I hope you check out all the awesome creations here.

Crafty Cardmakers #170

Hi everyone!  Lin is hosting our challenge this fortnight and the theme is Time.  I needed to make a card for my grandfather who is turning a very respectable 88 this week and I used the theme to make his card.

Here is what I have used:
Card/Paper: SU River Rock, Kaisercraft Sears & Son
Embellishments: Kaisercraft Sears & Son, Prima Wood Embellishments, Metal Clip, Twine
Tools: SU Large and Small Star Punches
Stamps: SU Wonderful Favorites
Ink: SU Soft Suede

I love this range for masculine cards as it all comes together quite easily.  Obviously my time theme comes into play with the pocket watch embellishment.

Thanks for popping by and make sure you check out all the wonderful DT creations here.  Hope you can play along.

Funky Flair Studio August Challenge Inspiration

This months new challenge is up and it is just gorgeous!  You can play along here taking inspiration from this yummy photo.

I have used the colours from this challenge but not the work Forever.  I just couldn't work it into this card lol.

Here is what I have used:

Card/Paper: SU Very Vanilla, Bo Bunny Country Garden Collection
Embellishments: Funky Flair Studio Flair, Martha Stewart Clay Frame and Bird, Flowers
Stamps: SU Great Friend
Ink: Memento Black, Frayed Burlap Distress Ink
Tools: Distressing Tool

The butterflies were cut out from the Bo Bunny paper range.  I let my boys play with the Martha Stewart clay and molds in the holidays and they made a whole bag of things so I pulled them out and inked up the frame and bird to fit the theme.

Thanks for popping by.
