Stamp Club - Christmas Cards

This was for this month's stamp clubs which had a Christmas theme cos lets face it - it is comin around quick! The first project was embossing.

Here is what I used:

Stamps: Tree Trimmings, Best Yet (Hostess)

Paper: Very Vanilla, Not Quite Navy, Bella Bleu DSP

Ink: Not Quite Navy, Versamark

Accessories: Gold EP, Non-SU Ribbon, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Dimensionals

We stamped the bottom ornaments in Not Quite Navy and then Gold embossed the one in the middle cutting it out and popping it up on Dimensionals.

The next card was a Joy Fold Card.

Here is what I used:

Stamps: Season of Joy, Best Yet (Hostess)

Paper: Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Holiday Treasures DSP

Ink: Old Olive, Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Designer Label Punch, Paper Piercer and Mat Pack, Bone Folder, Dimensionals

The middle flap lifts up from under the Designer Label Punch sentiment to reveal the inside of the card which looks like this:

This is a fun and easy fold to make a different and interesting type of card.

For our 3D project we made and Explosion Box.

Here is what I used:

Stamps: Cute & Curly, Season of Joy

Paper: Old Olive, Ski Slope DSP

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive

Accessories: Curly Label Punch, Old Olive Ribbon, Non SU Silver Twine, Scorer and Bone Folder

Great tutorials for all these projects can be found on Splitcoasterstampers under the resources section along with many other fabulous ones!

Have a great day,

Another Class Card

This was another card for the Father's Day Class I just did. I wanted to do something with generation stamping and liked these horses for that in the Wanted set. Tried to get out of my comfort zone with colours for men (I really don't like making men cards!).

Here is what I used:

Stamps: Wanted, Oval All

Paper: More Mustard, Old Olive, Haiku DSP

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive

Accessories: Buckle (from my stash), Old Olive Ribbon, Star Brads (from my stash), Scallop Oval Punch, Dimensionals

Have a great day - the sun is shining!

Another Flower Pot

This was for a recent stamp club project. It was great to see how many different variations they came up with when I said just use what flowers you like. There wasn't one card the same!

Here is what I used:

Stamps: Great Friend

Paper: Rose Red, Whisper White (for insert), Raspberry Tart DSP

Ink: Rose Red

Accessories: Pretties Kit, Pretty In Pink Taffeta Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch, Assorted flowers & leaves from my stash

I think they had a great time making this one and I'm sure you will too give it a go there is a great tutorial on SCS under the resources section.

Friday At Last!

Gotta love it when the weekend is just around the corner! It is such a beautiful day here - the sun is shining and the birds are singing. It seems so long since it was warm can't wait for Spring cause I am so over winter! In celebration of the sunshine here is a nice springy feel card. This is a pocket card I made for a recent stamp club.

Here is what I used:

Stamps: Great Friend

Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Urban Garden DSP

Ink: Not Quite Navy

Accessories: Curly Label Punch, 5 Petal Flower Punch, Pretties Kit, Flower Fusion, Large & Small Oval Punches, Kiwi Kiss/Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch, Corner Rounder Punch

I stamped the inside panel with the sentiment from Great Friend and the matching stamp on the DSP from the Always stamp set. Sorry I forgot to photograph the inside bit!

Have a great day,

Getting Some Mojo

Finally got to get in my stamping room and did this one for MOJO95.

Here is what I used:

Stamps: Cheers To You

Paper: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Holiday Treasures DSP

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Old Olive Ribbon, Paper Piercer & Template, Crystal Effects, Puff Paint

We did this one for a class but we used More Mustard marker on the beer steins then as is looked more like beer and cut out the handle (I was a bit lazy).

Some more class cards:

This was for SC234 as well over on splitcoasters. Here is what I used:

Stamps: Pun Fun

Paper: Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black

Accessories: Cuttlebug, Star Punches, Paper Piercer & Template, Dimensionals

Technique: I paper pierced the rocket

Next was Christmas in July Class:This was also for sketch challenge SC234 and here is what I used:

Stamps: Season of Joy

Paper: Old Olive, Baja Breeze, Ruby Red, Whisper White, Holiday Treasures DSP

Ink: Old Olive, Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, Oval Punch, Paper Piercer & Template, Dazzling Diamonds, Packing Tape, Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon

Technique: It doesn't show real well in the photo but the image is behind a glitter window of Dazzling Diamonds - this is a super easy technique and you can find a great tutorial over on splitcoasters on the resources page.

Stamps: Best Yet

Paper: Baja Breeze, Ruby Red, Vellum, Holiday Treasures DSP

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Cuttlebug & Swiss Dots Folder, Brad, Punches, Chocolate Chip Ribbon, Dimensionals
